If you are looking for a cool starting-point for a cycling holiday in South Tyrol, then Leifers/Laives is the place for you. The city boasts a very central location for vacationing. Almost throughout the year, you can ride your mountainbike or electro-bicycle to your heart’s content.

Leifers/Laives represents an excellent starting-point for tours with your citybike or electro-bicycle. You can cycle through apple orchards and along bike paths, on the ancient Via Claudia Augusta, to Bozen/Bolzano, Meran/Merano, to Lake Caldaro, or even to Lake Garda. Even only moderately skilled bikers will find it a pleasure.

Mountainbike enthusiasts greatly appreciate our region. The passes of the Dolomites one finds here are ideal climbing destinations. But you can also take forest paths and backwoods trails to many verdant meadows and charming alpine villages.

And if you don’t want to have to bring your bicycle with you on holiday, you can rent one in Leifers/Laives. There are plenty of racing bikes, mountainbikes, electro-bikes, and citybikes right here – in part, free of charge.
